The Most Delicious Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients for the Chocolate Cake:

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup strong black coffee
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the eggs, coffee, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  2. Pour the melted chocolate into the dog chocolate & cake mould and refrigerate until set.
  3. Carefully remove the chocolate dog from the mould and place it on top of the chocolate cake.
